Guardian Meeting

We have our meeting with Guardian next week.  I know the extras we will be getting will be over and above the cost of the house.  How are payments made to Guardian?  Do you make payments along the way or a deposit up front and final payment when the work is complete?  Does anyone have a list of the speaker model numbers and other audio/video equipment models that they offer?

  1. You can either roll it into your mortgage or make payments...its split into 3 payments..

  2. Our experience is different than India's. We had to have a third down and the rest is due 30 days after closing. I think I still have the guardian folder at home, so I'll check to see if the speaker numbers are available.

  3. Oh and one other piece of advice if you're planning on getting the security system. When we told him we weren't interested, he said he would give us 6 months free. We still didn't do it, but there was some negotiaion room. So if you're willing to "play the game", I'd play!

  5. I think it may just depend on the guardian rep. We rolled part into our mortgate, paid some upfront and now are making monthly payments over the next 3 months. Plan to knock it all out with our tax return.

  8. being nosey & stumbled across this blog. Just about to celebrate 1 yr in my Ryan home. FOr us, we had to put 1/3 down & pay the rest 30 days after settlement. We did not have the option to roll it into the mortgage.
