We have a Date

We have a tentative ground breaking date set for June 22nd.  It is getting real exciting now and finally feels real.  Now we just have to get the stuff moved out of House #1 and into storage.  4 companies coming this week to give us quotes and decision will be made on Monday.  Plan is to have everything out of there by May 18th with a settlement date of May 20th...whewwwww.

    Wow that is fast May 20th that is in just 2 weeks. Does this mean you will be living in house #2 till the Avalon is ready? Ground breaking next month whoo hoo. It will go by pretty fast.

    We are already living in house#2 and will wait till about a month before the Avalon is due to be finished to put house#1 on the market.

    Yaaaay! Okay, so you break ground on June 22nd? Thats great news! When do you close again? September _, 2011???? We are supposed to close on September 15th or 20th? I can't remember smh. We were told they would probably break ground end of May, beginning of June, I hope we hear something soon! I'm so jealous of the other bloggers. When do you have your pre-construction meeting?

    No firm dates yet other then ground breaking. Closing should be mid to late September. The Avalon takes about 12 weeks.

    That is awesome BD! I spoke to my sales rep today and looks like we will be moving forward soon!
